On 15th of august 2009.
I often wonder, what this day means to most of us. On one hand some of us pretend to be so called "patriots" and on the other hand, many of us don't even know what this should stand for.
Well, many exclaim, "Do your bit for the country!", "Repay mother India!"
I guess these are remarks are too philosophical for my understanding.
As a citizen of India i don't think i need to worry so much about how to contribute to India.
Many a times, i feel energized and motivated towards myself, my life, my country.
This independence day maybe i will channel all of that in one direction and probably do something that makes me feel good about being an Indian national.
I have been blessed to be able to receive the best of the education.
So, i guess i would start by educating all those who cant pay for it.
All those who need to know about their rights, and all those who can lead a much better life post literacy.
And then i guess it would be a
Happy Independence Day!

Agreed.
